Kira’s passion for photography and travel began when she was growing up on a remote island in The Bahamas. Her father, a marine biologist and her mother, an artist, instilled the importance of creativity and storytelling at a very young age. At sixteen, she was given her first point and shoot camera and from then on, her camera never left her side.

Her first foray into photography and writing began when she got a job out of university at Travel + Leisure magazine, where she worked her way up from an assistant to one of their staff photographers and contributing writers. From a top travel magazine, to the senior content producer of a top PR agency in New York, Kira now freelances as a photographer and creative director. She splits her time between her main residence in London, The Bahamas and New York. Kira specialises in travel, hotels, restaurants and lifestyle brands.
